Research Context

KLOW is a four-component proprietary research blend that combines GHK-Cu (the copper coordination complex of glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine), BPC-157 (a 15-residue partial sequence from a mammalian gastroprotective protein), TB-500 (a 43-residue acetylated synthetic peptide corresponding to the active region of Thymosin Beta-4), and KPV (the tripeptide lysine-proline-valine, corresponding to residues 11-13 of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone). The blend is supplied co-lyophilised in a single vial. The lyophilised cake retains a faint blue tint derived from the copper(II) coordination of GHK-Cu.

Preclinical literature has examined each component across distinct mechanistic pathways: GHK-Cu in copper-mediated extracellular matrix studies, BPC-157 in nitric oxide and angiogenic signalling models, TB-500 in actin-sequestering and cellular migration models, and KPV in NF-kappaB modulation and melanocortin receptor binding studies. The blend format allows researchers to evaluate combined exposure across four complementary pathways in in-vitro models alongside single-compound controls. All references are to published preclinical research; this product is not characterised for therapeutic use.

Chemistry & Structural Modification

The blend contains four distinct peptides in a single vial, each retaining its native synthesis chemistry. Component identification and reference data are listed below.

  • GHK-Cu: copper(II) complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine. Free tripeptide formula C14H24N6O4, molecular weight 340.4 g/mol, CAS 49557-75-7, PubChem CID 73587. Copper-complex CAS 89030-95-5.
  • BPC-157: 15-residue pentadecapeptide, sequence GEPPPGKPADDAGLV. Molecular formula C62H98N16O22, molecular weight 1419.5 g/mol. CAS 137525-51-0. PubChem CID 9941957.
  • TB-500 (Thymosin Beta-4): 43-residue acetylated peptide, sequence Ac-SDKPDMAEIEKFDKSKLKKTETQEKNPLPSKETIEQEKQAGES-OH. Molecular formula C212H350N56O78S, molecular weight 4963.4 g/mol. CAS 77591-33-4. PubChem CID 16132341.
  • KPV: 3-residue tripeptide, sequence Lys-Pro-Val, derived from the C-terminal of alpha-MSH (residues 11-13). Molecular formula C16H30N4O4, molecular weight 342.4 g/mol. CAS 67727-97-3. PubChem CID 125672.
  • Blend composition: 50 mg GHK-Cu + 10 mg BPC-157 + 10 mg TB-500 + 10 mg KPV per 80 mg vial.

Lyophilisation & Stability

Co-lyophilised under standard conditions to produce a stable filler-free powder. The freeze-dried format supports extended shelf life when stored under recommended conditions.

Storage

Store lyophilised vial at 2 to 8°C, protected from light. (Long-term storage at −20°C is standard practice.)

Reconstituted solution: 2 to 8°C, used within 14 to 30 days. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Quality & Documentation

  • Purity: ≥99% by HPLC (each component)
  • Certificate of Analysis (COA): published on our COA page.
